Considering a saltwater over tropical tank

Firstly, great choice I recently did the same thing but I brought a kitted out reef nano!! My best advice I can give is that you have got to be patient! Don't rush into anything!! You are limited on fish but corals & inverts are ok. Take time letting the tank cycle & don't be afraid to ask...

    Mr. rY's JBJ 28g NANO-CUBE CF-QUAD

It depends it looks like a nudibranch! My friend had one in his tank & it died!! It released toxins into the water and wiped his tank out their toxins are lethal. Some sea slugs are good google pice and have a look it might just be my poor eyesight lol!!

Newbie: JBJ 12 gallon nano build

I only use pre mixed from my LFS but that is because it works out cheaper with a nano than to mix my own. Tbh I have seen the discussions over tapwater & ro & I see both sides to the argument but my own preference is ro not tap!!

Newbie: JBJ 12 gallon nano build

It came complete with the tank from new my tank is a betta lifespace the only thing I have changed is my sponge to live rock & added another powerhead, I suppose it's down to personal preference on this subject. I understand a skimmer is not essential but I have one because it seems the right...

Newbie: JBJ 12 gallon nano build

I do my water change religious but I start as I mean to go on so I set it up like I will my next project!! With skimmers etc I'm over cautious lol but it works for me
  21. I.have.the.salty.bug

Newbie: JBJ 12 gallon nano build

I took my sponges out and replaced it with live rock fragments (which works for me) I also have phosphate remover in my nano as for a power head it's quite hard to recommend as most people on this site are in the USA and have different brands to us over here! I will let you know what I use later...

    Worm?!?

No worries, some people have alternate views on bristleworms! I think they are brilliant & do a brilliant job on cleaning out my waste but if I move a rock and find a big one I usually remove him, just to stop them getting outta hand. I assume you are uk based as you are on at this time of day??

    My new friend :)

I have a goby but he eats frozen, I have avoided any others just yet as my tank is not 6 months just yet!! I do like him though might look at investing in one in the future!! Thanks
