Yes there is a drift down to about 7.8ish. Probably closer to 7.9 but I run a light over my sump on an opposite schedule to my tanks lights and it evens it out so I never have the swing [emoji1360]

Also that was during my cycle so my ammonia was very high. Needed to wait for it to turn back to yellow and my nitrite and nitrate had not yet spiked and came back down. Hopefully that helps.

Yeah usually weekly I have to dose. But I make sure to use multiple methods of dosing such as my test kits, my works test kits and usually weekly I do the fancy API spin test that way I’m not dosing on any false readings.

I only dose when my levels get dangerously low. ??*♂️ they’re dropping somehow. I can only assume coral and coraline algae

Going good! It’s starting the conversions!

Just a little saddle back toby. He’s doing great. Mostly just taking care of vermintid snails. Also brough home a very small hippo, an orchid dottyback, lawnmower blenny, and leopard wrasse. Pics to come later. (Assuming the leopard comes back out of the sand in the next week)

Well... after unpacking a phillapeans order till 2am I came home with a brave new addition for the wife...
