HI there, Currrently setting up a 75g reef and was planning on using a bio pellet reactor and a carbon reactor, (instead of gfo). My question is, do i use the bio pellet reactor throughout the cycle? I remember seeing that this helps somehow? I am not going to run my skimmer and carbon reactor...

I am currently setting up a 75g tall saltwater for the first time.. The tank came with 4x t5HO. I was thinking, what could i add to these for good coral growth? Maybe also get a.shimmer effect. Thereis not much.space between the t5s so maybe an LED strip or something?

If the live rock is cured, will there still be a cycle? Is there any need to add ammonia or the shrimp? As always, thanks in advance dudes!

I have read that is it best not to run a skimmer during the cycleing period. however my filtration will consist of.live rock and a skimmer. So during the cycle do i run any addtional filtration or just let the live rock and sand take care of it?

As discussed in my other thread, i think the best option is to scrap the canister filter and go for a small (maybe 10g) sump. Firstly, can a sump be done without a wier or overflow? The tank is drilled and comes with a intake strainer attachment and a return attachment which is normally used...
