so i have my 10 gal tank for about a month or so, and ive check my parameter of the tank and they read ammo 0 nitrite 3 nitrate 10 and sometimes 20 ph 76 but i dont understand why is the nitrites higher , am i doing something wrong?

im new to this site and im a bigginer in this hobby. im hoping to get more knowledge from everyone about the aquatic hobby. i currently have a freshwater tank but i would really loce to move to a saltwater fishes once i learn the basics. mr.coco
