Does anyone use Golden Pearls for regular feeding of mature fish? It seems the advertising is for fry or young fish, but I like the idea of suspended pellets for middle feeders such as angels. Just curious if anyone has experience in this respect.

I totally agree. Frankly, it would be a dumb strategy. I've sent API an email with a copy of my Amazon review. I'll let you know what happens.

The Rena markings do not show anywhere on my box or filter. The only viable branding is API.

Oh well, so I bought 2 Philips f17/t8/tl850's from a hardware/electronics store. The 950's are not in stock anywhere in my area. Tank is MUCH brighter. Well worth the money, which was less than half the price of a chain LFS.

I've got 14 corys: 8 sterbai and 6 emeralds. I have a fair amount of hiding places, but am still adding live plants as I go along.

Angels I'm thinking should be OK. Rams on the other hand can be territorial and pretty aggressive. The rams may be a bigger problem for my corys.
