Quick question... is it normal for my yellow tang to lose its color and get dark after I turn the lights off. I have been looking into the tank with a flashlight after I turn off the lights... to see the nocturnal critters,,, and I noticed my yellow tang was very dark... please tell me this is...

Mine does great in my 55gl, though he bullys all of the new guys for about a day or so. Then he calms down and lets them explore the tank.

I was wondering the same thing... I have been seeing some people saying they run it for like 4 days a month and thats it.

I was just curious as to how exactly I am supposed to do the water changes. Am I supposed to do like I used to on my FW tanks and use a syphon to stir up the sand bed and get the nasty stuff off of the rocks and bottom. Or am I supposed to just take it off the top. I have been just taking it off...
