Thanks crazypants for the link. The worm seems to be gray toward the center of his body and taper into a red end towards the outside. It did not appear to have the fuzz on the outside like the fireworm in the link. Any other possibilities?

I was a little suprised to find this worm like creature in my tank today. He looks to be about 1 to 2 inches long. Any ideas on the name would be great. I hope its not a pest because i no longer know where he is. Thanks in advance

I built a sump out of a 30 gallon glass aquarium and acrylic baffles. I used clear silicon bought from home depot and have had no problems for over a year now. I am not sure why they say you can't silicon glass to acrylic? Worked fine for me.
