I do not have one. I only have an issue with the water for water changes. My aquarium is good.

    ammonia readings in water

obscureeef- I leave it all the time. I keep about 44 gallons ready in case I need it. I usually run a maxi jet in the bucket to keep the water moving around in the bucket so it doesn't sit still and get nasty. I had a brown film too and cleaned it out with a sponge and filter.

    ammonia readings in water

I thought that but there is nothing in there for it to get stuck in. Its an empty bucket of water. I had a maxi jet in there to keep it flowing so it didn't get stagnant so I took that out too, just in case. I'm completely stumped.

I am going to add live rock so I was told the tank won't need to cycle that it will be ready once the rock is in. Like I said I am new so I am relying heavily on the owner of my lfs for guidance. As far as fish go I have to get "Nemo" for my daughter first. And maybe a couple gobies. The...

    My 1st 75 gallon build

I decided to jump into the saltwater world with both feet. I started a 75 gal build in my basement. It quickly got out of hand and cost a lot more money then I planned on. Hopefully, it will be worth it in the end. I have a Hydor 505 performer skimmer, Mag 18 return pump, Spectra Pure 90 gpd...
