the fluvial sea is 25,000k so are you saying thats too much? or...? I'm sorry I'm lost. my corals seem to be doing great with the cheap fluvial light I'm using now. and i won't be keeping anything other than soft corals.

no i don't i do it by hand, i also test the water every other day, so i like to keep up with it. solomon is very happy in his tank. he has always been kept in small tank alone and this one actually gives him quite a but of swimming room.

ii looked up both photos it looks exactly like the ball anemone but there are about six- eight of them. it something i need to be worried about? will it spread/ how large does it grow and will it cause any issues with my other lps down the road?

update ordering two koralia nano 240's tomorrow and a new fluval sea led light pumping out 2,500k here is a updated photo of the tank, and some new critters growing on the l.r waiting for them to be identified, i think they are bubble anemone or strawberry anemone? sorry the glass is dirty!

just noticed these coming out of my live rock today, the take is still cycling new set up. they are clear tentacles with a pinksih/redish base and tiny little balls on the end of each tentacle? there are about 8 of them all small. good or bad?

i was thinking of only running the uv sterilizer when i added a new fish. do you really think it would be pointless? also is the lighting in this tank adequate for some soft corals? things like gsp or mushrooms?
