    Blue chromis

If your acclimation was good and your tank well established and stable then the Chromis were probably in bad shape when you got them. Blue Chromis are frustrating because sometimes they seem to be very hardy and other times just die off for no apparent reason. I think this is one of the fishes...

    Six line acclimation

Unless you have a good cover on your tank, you might want to look on the floor. Notorious jumpers :(

    Power heads

Koralia's are great and would do the job, but since you asked for the "best" IMO that would be a Vortech mp10 on each end of the tank. That's what I have in my 56g and the flow is incredible and totally adjustable. As far as cost that's a whole different story! Much more expensive.

    56g LED Reef Getting Crowded!

A few pics of my bedroom tank. Several specimens are getting too big most notably the Clam and the Tang. The branching SPS corals need regular trimming. I'm thinking of returning a few things and some frags for credit from my LFS. I really don't want to set up a larger tank right now. I've had a...

    Hot tank

Fans can help but ultimately it sounds like you need a chiller or a/c. If a window a/c unit would work in the room where your tank is I would go with that. Keep yourself AND your tank cool. We have had upper 90's to near 100F temps this summer and never had a problem with a/c and fans.

Need suggestions! New fish for 75 Reef

I love wrasses because they are always actively swimming, hardy and you can pretty well mix them without issues. The Leopard Wrasse is gorgeous as is the Mystery Wrasse if you can find one at an acceptable price. Just make sure you have a cover because they are notorious jumpers.

    Hi Everyone

I've been keeping reef tanks for about 20 years. I've had everything from a 10g to a 180g tank. Right now my tank is a 56g ( 30-18-24). It is a predominately sps tank. Equipment consists of Radion LED lighting, 2 mp10's , ATO, Octopus HOB skimmer, RKL, and a Aquaclear 70 for media are the basics...

    BC29 and skimmer (Tunze9002)

IME those Tunze skimmers are very finicky. The water level has to be just right, the air adjusted perfectly and sun, moon and stars all perfectly aligned . Even then a consistant foam head is hard to achieve. A cup of clear water was often the more likely result.
