Woke up to a bunch of these covering the front of my glass. I think it's pods but just making sure. I haven't seen any in my tank till just now my tank is 2 months old. I know I need to clean my glass.

Ok I have a 55 with a 20 gallon long sump with some live rock in it and a protein Skimmer. I also have a canister w just some pad in it but I heard that the canister is bad on a reef tank should I get rid of it

Run a sump and your live rock is your filter all u need is a sock

Ok I tried to wipe it off the green comes of with one swipe of the mag float but it takes four or 5 swipes for that to come off.

Diatoms and green algae is going away and some purple stuff is showing up on glass

Hermit crabs will survive anything that is what I cycle my tank with.
