    general plant question sometimes turn brown or yellow

    some facts: 150 gallon freshwater with 4 x 96watter compact, 12 hours on If a plant turns borwn or yellow...mainly at the "edges" is this a general sign of: not enought light not enought nutrient not enough??? or too much of??? Sincere Thanks in advanced for the help and direction fish buddies!

    centipede diffuser???

    We have a Tenecor 150 gallon freshwater tank with a Little Giant water pump with a sump filter and two Centipede. It seems that the fish are always "working"..."swimming upstream" against the current. SHould there be a centiped "diffuser" to lessen the "garden hose" effect and still not lessen...

    need overflow box teeth filter suggestion

    Our Tenecor 150 gallon freshwater has the overflow filter system. Fish are always getting trapped/sucked in here. Would a fishnet material over the teeth be suggested to allow water flow put stop fish taking a ride to filter heaven? Anyone have solutions or suggestions? Thansk in advance fish...

    substrate cable heaters...mmm?

    I need some experiace and advice for a planned 150 gallon discus & others tank mate planted tank. I have read about the Dupla Company & www.aquariumlandscapes.net. Substrate would probably be a Seachem Flourite or Onyx black sand. Does anyone have any experiences? Thanks in advance!

    I will be getting a new 150 gallon freshwater tank. It will a sump filter. Is a UV a good idea and if so, what are some recomedned brands? Thanks in advance!
