    Favorite LFS in Seattle?

Hmmmmm I'll have to check em out while I'm still on this side of the mountains. I keep hearing everyone talking about A Place for Pets, yet have never made it down there either. Sent from my XT1080 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Favorite LFS in Seattle?

Aquarium Zen is a pretty nifty place, lots of plants and a good vibe. Very friendly people but not that many actual fish. Haven't had the chance to visit the Co-op yet is it worth it? Also Dennys pet world over in Totem Lake or Sierra Fish & Pets in Renton can be pretty decent. Most of the...

Brackish Algae Eater w/Figure 8 Puffer?

I was reading about the snails and they are BW...do you think they stand a better chance of living if we give him smaller snails to feast on? We are currently breeding pink ramshorns for him to eat- we have unlimited numbers for him (they breed like crazy! give them a leaf of spinach and BAM-10...

Brackish Algae Eater w/Figure 8 Puffer?

Hey all I am trying to figure out a good algae eater for a brackish tank with a figure 8 puffer. It is a 10 g- the puffer is the only fish in it. We are getting aLOT of algae due to the amount of natural light :thanks:

another 55 gallon stocking thread, with partial stocking list!

Well we have 3, two black white gold coloured ones and a larger silvery blue. When it comes time for feeding they would be at the top of the pecking order except they're much slower then the glofish. Lol Angels definetly seem to love the attention though. I was trying to take pictures of them...

How long after starting tank did u start thinking about another tank?

Well we started with a 10 gallon tank with mollies to help keep our cat entertained and she loved it! Then before we moved someone offered to trade us our 10g set up for there 29g set up with stand! So how could we say no? After letting the 29 cycle and add fish we checked the local craigslist...

How many of yall name your fish?

Hmmm i may be an oddball here but I don't name my fish, I let them name themselves! Idk I just sit there and enjoy there company and usually it will just be like, "You seem like an x to me". Unless of course i can think of an amazing name for them and in that case I use my creative license...

another 55 gallon stocking thread, with partial stocking list!

Yah a lot of the other sites I've seen and the LFS claim that angels are completly non aggressive... but from what I've noticed all sorts of fish, even peaceful ones, can be aggressive depending on there personality just like people. Thankfully we've seen no fin nippind or lip locking for...
