Yes I have a swing arm and LFS used a refractometer and it matched up to what mine was reading.

Salinity is right at 1.024

The "its good" was an answer for the question about salinity. My tank cycled fine. I think I know what it is. I will share after the lab results.

Yes I did condition the water. Cycled 6 weeks with filter on. Skimmer off. Water temp is right around 80 Ammonia was 0 ph was 8.2 nitrite 0 nitrate 0 LFS is good.

LOL I think I will buy a pepermint shrimp first cause they look good and it's somethin else in the tank. If that don't do the trick I will try the pickling lime. IF that doesn't work I have a barbecue lighter!! :)
