Hey i have a female brittlenose catfish around 9cm. I added her to my tank around 8 weeks ago. All seems ok tho i have just noticed this white mark on her back. Does anyone know what this could be or what has caused it? Thanks

Hey mate. I had the same problem with my tank. I now use seachem purigen instead of carbon in my tank and it is crystal clear. I put it in the filter and it works great. Here are a few pics.

Hey 2 kribs will be fine I have - 7 tiger and 1 green barb 2 kribs 2 Bn pleco. They all work well together.

That's a nytmare! I paid $20 blue ram and $35 for a pleco and they both died within 3 weeks. I am hopefully getting better as time goes on.:) Yeah this forum has helped heaps!! Thanks again!!

Hey. I know it's a nytmare.!! Is there anyway to treat the water so that there is deffinetly o ammonia, if I test it on Friday there is 0 ammonia them I do a 20% water change on Saturday them do a test on Sunday there is 0.25 ammonia. Surely this cannot be good for the fish.?? Cheers

Ok. Sounds good to me. My understanding was kh and dh had to be between 3 and 6 depending on fish you keep. That's why I add kh and salt?? As for prime and and water conditioner it does Sound like am wasting money.
