My build started with a 25 mr. Aqua also. Nice to see another one in action! CPR aqua fugue fits perfectly on the back, and two marineland led reef lights have plenty of power to grow SPS. In fact they ended up overgrowing the tank. JR

Totally flooded my downstairs neighbors condo....twice!! I now put it in the bathtub as another has said. Even then, put a weight on the line, pressure spikes can flick the output line out of tub/ bucket. JR

Once the water is stable, I always liked the idea of a bathroom seahorse tank.....low flow,HOB refugium for pods, some macro algae....just a thought. Let us know what u came up w!

They make a hang on back with skimmer and fuge together. I believe it is the aquafuge. I have been using fr two years and love it. Three sizes of hob fuge skimmer combos.

I think the screen will serve you well, mine is still open top after 2 1/2 years, but I have lost my share of carpet surfers.

I dont really interfere that much anymore. Besides, Digging around in a zoa colony is about my least fav thing to do....always makes your hands tingle from the palytoxins. Met a guy that has permanent heart damage from zoo juice a few months ago.

For what it's worth department, here's my 25 cube reef.....

If you think the "actinic" spectrums look good, then add lots of 12-18K lighting!! That's my opinion. I wasn't satisfied with the hue of my tank till I added lots of actinic and deep blue led strips to balance out the white wash....still need plenty of PAR, but color me blue!
