Does anyone have any experience with these fish. My local pet smart got a bunch in labeled has Acei's and there on sale for 5$ each. I've read about them online, but was just curious if anyone had any personal experience with them, or know any other info on them.

Ok thanks so much, my guess was a bit off on the first one.

Here is a closer pic of the new fish (top) compared to the yellow lab

These were both in the assorted cichlid tank. They appear to look like they come from the Labidochromis species. They both look like my yellow labs with the black stripes in there fins. The second is much more orange in color compared to my yellow labs but resembles the same markings.

Here are few pics of my 75g African tank. I'm still in the process of adding more rocks, I'm thinking about making a big pile of lace rock on top of the big flat rock.

I forgot about this big guy. He was given to me and to my surprise he is doing pretty good with all his new little buddies

Went to the LPS with the wife and the kiddo to get several red zebras which only turned out to be 2 because my wife wanted to pick out some fish so of course i let her. We came home with 2 red zebras, 1 auratus and some sort of peacock, it is orange with black splotches all over she just had...

Ok cool i can def add 5-6 red zebras and will prolly be adding more yellow labs as well, i really like them!!

What would be some other good cichlid suggestions to add to these later on, im thinking of red zebra's to add some more color.

Finally started stocking my 75gallon yesterday i got 2- yellow labs, 2- yellow fin acei, and 1 kenyi!! All ready cant wait to add more!!! They look so tiny in the 75g compared to the fish store tanks!!!

Im thinking about buying this along some clear hose from Lowe's to refill my tank with, it attaches to water faucet. You can also use it to siphon the water out of the tank too.

Ok thanks i will relay the message to remove it. She bought all the test stuff and when she opened the ammonia test package the only thing in there was the instructions so she will have to go get some more, kind of a bummer!!

And the package said you could use it for new setups.

It was a new setup. She thought it would help so we tried it, the tank is all clear and seems to be doing good so far.
