Yeah, I re-tested and did a 50% water change. Same results as first test. Also added 3 caps of prime after water change. Fish still seem fine, will have to re-test in the morning I guess.

Thanks for the replies! I am excited to see the Bichir grow. I hope he can get along with all of his tank mates. I hope that it I keep a constant supply of feeder fish in the tank, he won't bother the fish he'd be capable of eating.. Guess I'll just have to wait it out a couple of months and...

I actually just used the ghost shrimp to cycle the tank. Not keeping them as pets and figured the frog would eat them eventually. The frog can grow to 5-6", do you see the Bichir eating something that large even when he's fully grown? Maybe if it were an african dwarf frog? Also, found out...
