How do you keep your sand so white? Is it just a newer system or what?
  7. lakaiguy

    Once live rock.

If you still need to cycle the tank just put the rock in
  8. lakaiguy

    What is this?

Does that harm fish or inverts? Is there a natural way to get rid of it? The tank is still new and I've done pwc every week since out cycled, how'd I get it?

Nice thanks man Just be careful when adding new rock, make sure its completely cured and even then add it slow. I think I lost two fish from adding too much dead rock.

Can't keep fish but inverts are fine???

The first two clowns I did not drip acclimate. The rest I did. The temp has been bumped up to 78 and I'll be doing a 20% pwc tomorrow and another one maybe Tuesday. Overfeeding is a definite possibly, probably why the coral beauty lasted the longest due to her not grazing the open waters...

Huh I thought so. Pretty sure inverts are nearly impossible to keep with valentinis. You'd have to keep him well fed and even then those shrimp are a tasty treat
