How do you get rid of snails

Thanks for your advice. I did only have one clown loach, so perhaps that, indeed, was the problem.

How do you get rid of snails

Have you had good luck with the clown loaches? Last time I had one, it didn't bother my multitudinous snails, but instead picked a fight with my Betta and shredded its fins to tatters.:( I thought it was an evil little beast.:nono:

    Betta Somewhat Lethargic

How's the temperature of Buddy's tank? I've found that my guy is much happier when his tank is over 75 F. Just a thought! My tank temp varies between 70 and 80. Occasionally, when it's below 75, I've found him laying on his side at the bottom(scary), but he's fine when the water warms up. Has...

    Favorite freshwater fish

Very nice!:fish2: I had to give up on a pleco in my 14 gallon as they always got too big. My husband called my last one, "Large Ugly Poops Alot" I thought he was beautiful. He developed a bit of orange color when he grew. My LFS was glad to take him in on trade.;)

    Favorite freshwater fish

Although sometimes their misplaced aggression aggravates me, I really like angelfish. I think big schools of neon tetras are stunningly beautiful, but my hard well water prevents me from getting them.

    Quick cory question

What does it take to make Cory Cats happy? They're such cut little fellas, but I can't keep them alive. I haven't tried again for a long time now.

    Shipping live plants

I've successfully received plants(crypts without leaves) in a ziplock bag with a moisture pad all enclosed in a padded mailer that I know had been in transit for at least 2 weeks. The Christmas moss with them looked terrible, but the crypts and java fern were fine. I don't remember now how he...

Greetings from New Member From Oregon

Hi Y'All! I'm glad to have found you as I'm always interested in learning more about aquariums, freshwater in particular. I got my first aquarium, 10 gal. freshwater, for my 10th birthday back in North Carolina. Long, long ago, and far away! I learned alot from that first tank, including, but...
