    Dwarf puffers are brackish water fish and cories freshwater. How long have you had the tank? And are you experienced with saltwater? You might wanna post in the getting started section in saltwater for your 55 gallon.

    I do have a crypt. Love those plants. Somewhere I heard that dwarf sag is a Good lowlight plant.

    Eh I have mystery snails. They're more pretty than they are functional. I'd say nerites are more efficient eaters. Although I have no experience with them.
