What type of cichlids?

I'll be getting a 125 when I move in about 3 months

Anyone have one of these? I know they can reach 2 feet. Anyone with experience got advice?

Is think you allow them to breed whenever. Let nature do.its thing. My texas cichlids have spawned although still small. My male just isnt mature enough to fertilize.

There 2-3 inches. I'm aware of tank requirements. There in a 60 gal now and I have a 75gal that's not set up yet. They are still small.

He is the smaller lol. She is doing a good job staying out of his way. More or less he's just controling her.

It's. Column tank. Never found a divider that tall. Will he kill her? Is this part of spawning?

What size tank? Tank mates? How often and how much w water changes? I believe they like prestine water.

That's awesome. I have a pair that's still pretty small maybe 2-3 inches but growing fast. I enjoyed Oscars for personality but I like Texans even better. The spawned once but I think my male is still too young. Do you have any pictures?

I know they'll lay eggs wiithout a mate. When I had 8 convicts the females would lay eggs by themselves but they never let any other fish near them not other males or females.

Their colors have not changed at all. The pink convicts fins are noticeably longer the the black convicts. I just always assumed the pink was a female.

Just thought I'd update and share. They spawned about 10 days ago. No eggs made it. I believe they are still a little young especially the male who is a bit smaller.

Ya I disagree. The are good parents and very protective but mine never killed any other fish. They keep the others away from their fry and eggs but there not killers as long as they're with other cichlid type fish. Breed away its amazing to watch.

Mine always hatch at night. The convicts will start digging in front of the pot or they should. Keep me updated.
