Cheers. If anyone does have any experience with wrasse, I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light.

    Clown Fish

There may be some eggs, and from my knowledge, if the pair aren't conflicting in anyway, everything should be fine. Also, I haven't had much experience with Shrimp, Molluscs etc. but I'm pretty sure that they won't harm the eggs, or if so, not many of them. - Chris

    Tank Safe?

Recently, after introducing a Kole Tang into my tank, I had an outbreak of ich. After various attempts at curing the fish of the disease, all had, sadly, died... except for one - my Red Coris Wrasse. He seems to be healthy and happy, is this due to an obscure immunity or resistance to ich, or...

I suggest a dwarf angel of another kind. Perhaps a lemon peel angel? Or a coral beauty angel? They're both pretty sexy. A Toby puffer would do well, various Cardinals, Small "reef safe" Wrasse, like a flasher wrasse of some sort? The possibilities are endless, that's just my two cents, bro. Also...

    My new beast

Hey Dude1982 is your foxface a very active one or does it just kind of patrol it's territory? Because mine only inhabits a small area of my 75gal just wondering if it's just my foxface or if it's typical behavior. Thanks mate.

To Nano or not to Nano.. That is the question!

Lol, obviously I was joking about the volitans. But, the perc's do not necessarily need a 20gal as long as you keep a good filtration system and pwc schedule, you should be fine. IMO the 14gal biocube has the footprint for a pair of clowns, you just have to keep a good maintenance schedule...

    55Gal predator tank!

Lighting can affect the way your fish look, but it's all about preference. I would go with a 4-bulb fixture with 2 daylights 1 actinic and 1 Fiji purple bulb. Looks really nice. You can search on google 'good lighting fixtures' and see what strikes your fancy. Hope I help bro. I can't wait...

To Nano or not to Nano.. That is the question!

+1 to the biocube 14gal. Much better for sustaining corals, inverts etc. Fir a 14gal stock it to what you think you can handle (bio-load wise). IMO, I would stock the 14gal with: 2x true percs 3x clown gobies And one volitans lion when you don't want your fish anymore :D hahaha

    Maroon clownfish wont eat

Hmm... I though may you overfed them and they got sick of the food or something along those lines. Yeah, try not feeding for a day or two and then try again. If that doesn't work I don't know what to do honestly.. Hope all goes well anyhow.

    new 5x2x2 predator fowlr build

To Nano or not to Nano.. That is the question!

Forgot to mention the temp will be fine as long as you have an aqua one heater or something along those lines.

    35gal reef.

Sorry for your loss. When I thought I was going to lose my foxface from a spike in the water conditions I started panicking so much, I thought I was gonna pass out. Hahaha

    I need a fish-sitter PLEASE HELP

Good idea, but that's too late now. I think they got poisoned by the foxface's spines, only one is left and he is timid and friendly(surprisingly). So all is good now:)

To Nano or not to Nano.. That is the question!

Think of it this way. Nitrates are produced by waste, correct? If you have a small amount of water and there is waste there is a higher nitrate:water ratio. If you have a large amount of water the nitrates are less concentrated. You can fight these nitrates by having a large amount of live rock...

To Nano or not to Nano.. That is the question!

Hi and welcome to the marine world my friend! a nano tank is always very easy to move. They appear to be easier to take care of. The truth is, well It isn't. Small marine tanks need to be topped off a lot more frequently than their large counterparts. Small volume of water = More battles with...

    35gal reef.

I agree, that is some nice rockwork. I can't wait till I get my live rock; I just bought 40kg of live rock from someone of gumtree.com.au(aussie craigslist) He had a pic of his 8x2x2.5ft with 60kg and it had a nice layout. My tank is 75gal so I should have plenty of rock to aquascape. :) Anyway...

    Stock help!

Way ahead of ya. I've got 100lbs live rock and a 2000lph filter running, so I think my filtration is adequate for a few juveniles until the upgrade. There is this, roughly 18"-2' zebra moray at my lfs right now for $125 so I got that covered. I'll see if I can get my hands on a lunare wrasse...

    Reef switched to FOWLR 75g

Very nice! How much live rock is in there atm? diggin' the snowflake. How big is he? Anywayz, really nice tank; tbh I think fowlr's are a lot more fun than reefs.

    55Gal predator tank!

I agree it is understocked, but because I am using the 75 as a grow out, I'm trying to keep it as low as I can. When I do get the 220 then I will most likely add more fish; I was thinking 2 coral catsharks as the big attraction. Small for a shark, big for a fish. you should look them up, very...
