good point let me just add that i currently have a sailfin pleco a clown loach and a corey cat i know they will outgrow it so dont waste time telline me rione about an african cichlid tank? joe manu could i fit? or i wouldnt be' opposed to' having just a few or even one oddball fish

upgraded to actually i plumbee it myself it turns over about 12 times per hour and all my fish Are target small when that grow i sell them to my LFS for some easy profit

hey guys reading this just reminded me what happenee a few days ago i recently upgraded to' a 20 long and moved my sailfin, clown loach, and cory catfish qfter moving the fish the amonia spike was worse than i had expected so i left the lid off the tank overnight when i went go feed the NeXT...

now lookong at a 50 instead. any options or still no oher fish?

in the next weekor so i will be upgrading to a 40 gallon breeder. i will be moving my 4 inch oscar and want to get him some tank mates. he is currently in a 10 gallon with 2 green cory catfish. i am unsure whether they will stay in the 10 or make the move also.

take the oscar and you should be good. they are much more vicious than youd expect. i have one thats only about 4 inches and it absolutely shredded a pleco

will a regular hang on back filter sufice?

alright so from what im understanding is that the things i should get to cycle thos tank are live rock and a protein skimmer?

so live rock is just rock that will sit in the substrate? i saw one for sell called refrugium ruble which to me sounds like it should be in a refrugium but im assuming it could also work in a regular tank correct?

but can i add that same gravel back to the 10 gallon after i move him out?

so its part of the substrate?

and could you possible explain what live rock is?

what about live sand? ive seen that for sale multiple times too

would a protein skimmer be better than a typical hang on filter?
