So I bought this at my LFS about 6 month ago. It was all bleached out, but for $10 I thought it was worth a shot Any idea what it is? The white on the left edge is new growth, finally! It colored up to a purple like color.

It spins a "web" every night. Is there anything that will eat it?

Picked up a Tunze ATO Black Friday. Working great but a little worried the water line didn't go into the pump very far. I have a feeling it will get pushed out over time. Anyone else have one of these? I would guess it went in about 1/4 inch.

I installed this skimmer today. The pump is rather loud. Has anyone else had this issue? It is by far the loudest thing on my tank now. And I'm not referring to the air intake. The motor itself. Thanks for any input.

I know refugiums are dumping grounds, I just down want to let something I can stop into my display take. These picture are from a HOB refugium. The display looks great since I started it. Just not sure if the red stuff is something I should worry about.

Well this hermit crab has been in the tank for a few weeks, but today I noticed something on the bottom of its shell. Looks like a clear Zoa, probably a filter feeder of some sort. I just want to make sure it isn't something bad. It is right below the opening on the shell. Thanks!

I guess when you spend hundreds setting up a new tank, the local fish store will throw you a bone every now and them. Here is my new tiny coral piece. I was pretty surprised to get a free coral, and my first, I forgot to ask what it is. Thanks for the help.

Anyone know what kind of snails these are? Found them on a sand bar in South Florida, Atlantic Coast. Put them back, but there are hundreds of them. Just wanted to know if they would be good for CUC. Thanks
