well yes technically they are but i meant african cichlids like peacocks and frontys and electric yellows etc. as my ph with the discus and angels is currently around 6.2-6.4 so i will need to bring it up to around the 8.0 mark even a bit higher.

just sold as labled as a discus so not sure sorry got it when it was about 4-5cm now about 6-7cm give or take had it for about 1 month or so

So I am just wondering if any body new which type of strain that my discus is as I'm not to sure it's only just been showing off some of the blue color in it lately since I have changed the setup and maintenance and feeding schedule of the tank..

Run your new filter that u get with the old one still running for a couple of weeks and take out some of your tank water in a bucket and was the sponge and or media with it first too
