Got my last inhabitant for my tank, a 6" black ghost knife. Now my stocking is complete.

The one on the right is one solid piece and the one on the left is two pieces.

Thanks. Plants are growing good now.

Ok finished planting my background now. I added more moneywart, water sprite and a hygrophillia corymbosa behind the driftwood.

Did my one month cleaning on my canister. Added some polishing pads to it this time to see how clear I could get the water. This is after 12 hours of running.

Down the road this will be a discus tank and that is all I'll have in it. These are just the fish I had in both my 55s.

After two and a half months I finally have my planted 125 up and running. Been forever it seems like to me. It's a low light set up, went with the less is more approach. I'm running a Fluval fx6 and two penguin 350s for filtration and using Finnex leds for my lighting. My heaters are two 250w...

I would recommend the Finnex fugeray planted plus led light. There a good price and it will get you to the low light to medium light range. I just put these on my 125 and love them.

Well the 125 has been up and running for 11 days now and the plant growth is really good. Can't believe what a difference good lights will do. Starting to get some green algae covering my big piece of driftwood which is making the tank look even more natural. Here's a ten day difference pic.

Here are a few pics of my angels. The first pic are my 2 Koi veils and my gold marble ghost. The next pic is my male gold marble. His mate is in the pic a little on the right. She's a gold veil.

My 125 I just got up. It's a low light planted angelfish, rainbow tank. Fluval fx6 and two penguin 350s for filtration. Finnex planted plus led lights. I have Java ferns, water sprite and Amazon swords for now. Only been running for about ten days so I have a lot of growing to do.

This mornings test results. Yes my Ph has always been that high.
