Its been here for a while

Yeah I tried vinegar and razors. And I'll do the lights off next

I will take a better picture when I get home, I'm on a break between shifts at work. Its white though, and you can kind of see iy in the top right of this picture.

So I have been keeping aquariums for a while now, however I have never come across a tank with a stain on the outside that just won't go away. I will try to post a picture of it later, but I'm running out of ideas. I've done hot water, Windex, vinegar and water.....I need help, its really annoying

I see, if I get a softener i'm getting nuggets.

I want a gold nugget so bad. I've had two, and they didn't live longer then 3hrs. I need a water softener

That sounds cool, and that's what my top is, but I used aspen as the wood and I used polyurethane to seel out

Thanks guys, and im kinda enjoying the doscoloration, looks a Lil more natural....may add more lights. The stand has half inch aspen sheets on the sides and front of the stand, and a 3/4 inch aspen top. I am going to add doors soon. Possibly a floor and clear plastic sheets like windows...

And that's always the way to think about it....I actually had a problem worth my filter when I started it, and now my tank looks disgusting and I set up a pump just to try and clean it up....the water is like yellow(i'm not sure its its tannins) and there's an ugly station that won't come off of...

Im getting more excited to paint tomorrow! Back of the tank, and the stand...Maybe black paper on the sides to contain the light?
