I agree with Fishanatic and keep the temperatures steady

I wouldn't do it because she/he has only been in a 2.5 gallon tank you should put it in a 5 gallon then 10 gallon etc.But add more fish each time

i would do a fish-less cycle because it takes less time and also its less complicated

but petco is really far away so i dont know when i can get them:fish2:

Petco does have nerite i just checked

well i think that going to the pet store and buying plants is better than shipping plants,and also most fish like real plants and plus they make the tank look prettier and you dont have to buy so many toys because to many wouldn't look pretty

maybe you could try to do a water change maybe like 50% water change

you have very pretty fish i want some now!
