    PH Levels Saltwater

They sell stuff called proper ph which will properly increase the ph in your tank. There's probably another method idk it so hopefully someone else can put there knowledge on this tread

    PH Levels Saltwater

That's weird to me that your ph would drop after adding LR and fish. Might be something else especially since damsels are really hardy fish. I would check your levels once again. Where did the LR come from and did you cure it first?

Want to put together a list of fish

Thanks Thanks for that advice I did know that tangs can be aggressive, that's why I was considering adding two(different types, i.e powder tang and hippo tang) at the same time. I have a 110 gallon do you think o e or two would be ok in that size?

Coral wrapped in HA Here's a pic of one of my corals, it's got HA stuck in the coral. Any ideas on how to remove it, I've pulled the rock out before and this hair is stuck in a very hard almost glued down way to this rock it's strange to say the least. I got two turbos yesterday that amazed me...

Want to put together a list of fish

I recently started my tank and only have a couple damsels, 2 clowns, a lawn mower blenny and just added a yellow headed goby today. I decide I want to put together a list of working class fish for this tank, so each fish(or group) will have a job to do(I even make my fish work hard!) was hoping...

    Best lights?

Beautiful tank! Since we are talking lights here, I have a question about mine, I bought two exotic sun 120 watt LED fixtures from a friend who got out of the hobby. I am wondering if these lights will be good enough for my tank. I have a 110 gallon tank 48" and 28" deep hoping these lights...

    Hair algae, HELP PLEASE

4 is the way I was leaning now ill figure exactly where to them. Hopefully that helps. I cut down the lights as of today. Also in doing research I found a few articles that suggest raising mg levels to kill off(starve) algae.

    Hair algae, HELP PLEASE

I am buying powerheads next week. Undecided if I want 4 Hydor 550 or two 1050's. The bonus to getting four is I can place two of them lower in the tank and not worry about a sand storm, if I get the two, I'll place them up top and aim them down slightly.

    Hair algae, HELP PLEASE

:nono:Funny thing.. I was thinking I don't have enugh flow. The only flow I really have right now comes from the over flow and return, though the return is a mag 900 so its pretty strong. I was thinking about the sand as well(though as someone mention distrubing it could be even worse)...

    Best lights?

I can tell you I have a 110 gallon 48" wide tank. I ordered the aquatop light and was super excited, when it got here I was soo disappointed the light felt cheaply made and it barely lit up the top 1/4 of my tank. This is just my experience but thought I'd let you know.
