I have babies!!!!!! And sooner than I expected. They are so tiny!!! I was about to vacuum my gravel and my daughter spotted the babies and stopped me. Thank goodness! I still have 2 clutches of eggs, I ended up with 4 total. This is so exciting!

Hi, I've had several mystery snails in 3 different tanks for about 3 months. Their shells are starting to deteriorate and crack. One looks about to split wide open. What is going on? My water parameters are all fine. I bought a cuttlefish bone and put some in. Can anyone help?

Can snails tolerate aquarium salt? I put a little bit in my 25 gal tank yesterday and now one of my mystery snails is acting weird. I'm actually wondering if its dead. I'm kicking myself now for putting thy salt in there without thinking and making sure it would be ok first.

I feed tetra min flakes. Just a pinch. He is swimming around Just like he always has. His color looks good. . Seems fine except for the big belly.

I have 4 neon tetras and a betta and 3 mystery snails in a 10 gal tank. Water params are all good. This one neons belly has gotten large in the last week or so. I tried getting a good picture, ill post the best one I got. Any ideas about why this fishy has a big belly all of a sudden?

I would read up about cycling the tank. There are very informative articles on thus site. I may be wrong, but it sounds like way too many fish too soon may have caused ammonia spikes which can be lethal. I did it myself. Only when my tank cycled and ammonia levels stabilized did I stop losing...

All they had for sale were mystery snails. How would a few of those be?

I fought this too and ended up buying ph regulating tablets. You drop them in the water and they buffer the water.
