I recently got a 10 gallon breeding tank and put my 2 black clownfish in it. It has a ball of chaeto, a flower pot and a piece of live rock. And all the necessities. I bred a pair of black ice clowns about 1 year ago. That was just luck. Arte black clowns any harder? Any ways to encourage spawning?

I thought they only eat corals if they dont have enough nutrients.

What about the copperband?

Could I keep it as a juvenile and trade it back? Also could a copperband bf or yellow tang go in a 50 or 55? I know foxface grows fast

Should I keepp a onespot foxface in a 55 or 50 gal tank? Better yet can I even keep one in those tanks?

I have leds, my jungle val is melting too. fish are fine with bright red noses. (rummynose tetras)

Also, i just ordered some baby tears. How long would it take to carpet 24" x 12"?Tied to clay and dosing co2. I made a co2 generator and a homemade diffuser. Woth seache flourish.

20 tall. Marineland leds. I chose blue because it causes a bushy growth.

i'm dosing seachem flourish and the lights are really bright leds.(3 blue leds, rest are white). I think i only need co2 but i don't have a diffuser.

I'm asking because it has flourite and isn't growing.

Does stargrass need a good substrate, or is it like anacharis and hornwort?

I was wondering how would some of you kind folk finish out this aquarium. 5 danios 5 rummynoses 6 cories 1 oto. How would you finish it up?

I have a 20 gallon tall, water parameters are fine. I have 5 rummynose tetras and 5 zebra danios, as well as 2 cory cats. I have a lot of plants. How would some of you people finish out the tank?

Why would i do that?

I have 2 cories and 5 z.danios in a 20 gallon. I was thinking of stocking it out with 5 rummynoses and an electric blue ram. Could i stock it even more after that , or would that be the max? I also want some suggestions, thanks. :)

I was just reading signs of fungus and it said white outline on the fins, so i just placed an order on amazon for Maracyn II. Does that work? By the way, i'm 16 and don't have that much money. Would you know how i could convince my parents to let me get a 50 gallon discus tank? They can afford...

Maybe i'm just over reacting. Just tested and ammonia is at .50 could be an ammonia spike. :/

The danios have a grayish whitish line on their heads w/ a slight white outline on the edge of their fins. I don't think i can get a picture of them becasue they are way too fast. Cories also have something on their heads. All of these things on their heads are perfectly in the middle. Any clue...

White edges on fins too, so is it fungus or bacteria? The pimafix seems to be sustaining the fungus.

which antibiotics would you recommend?

Are there any home remedies? I added salt and turned the temp up to 85.

Can i get rid of it without medication?
