48 hours is enuff time for ammonia buildup i wouldnt personally add that many fish to an uncycled tank do u have another cycled tank u can get some filter substrate from? know little about the fish itself tho

Only feed him twice a week. id feed pellets once then a pea or piece of carrot alteritavly there scavengers and in the wild regularly go weeks without food

Yea sorry they will have the 20 gal buy themselves the cods got a 250gal n my archer fish have a 75 gal cycleing for them right now but they still in the 20 atm
