its T5 light unit , tank is 18 inches deep , 6 foot long and has nemo,s , tang , butterfluy , damsells and cleaner shrimp in at the min

Hi guys , what's a rough guide to how high a light unit should be hung over an open top tank ......min height max height ?

I just upgraded from 75 litre to 325 ltr ( 6 foot ) . I filled the new one with sand and water , transfered over all me rock , added some new pieces. Cycled form24 hrs then transfered all my old water water over and then the fish . Been 48 hrs now and all is good including all water tests ...

hi , the rock came from a shop that was closing down .......i removed it because up untill adding it all was great ...........stock is 2 cleaner shrimp , 1 x goby , 4 damsels , mix of snails and hermits and 2 clownfish........like i said im wanting to move it all on friday and hope the increase...

Hi all , I bought an electric scallop at the weekend and over the last few days he's wedge himself ( or herself ) between 2rocks and has not moved ....... Looks ok and tentacles still stuck out .....should I be concerned ? Move him ( or her ) or is ths just normal? Thanx in advance Andy

Hi . i too am restoring a 72" tank ( i ave pics on here ) and was pondering the same thing ......ihave decided on a Fluvel FX5 filter which all reports are good ................. i will set up with this with a view to maybe later on switching to a sump . only benificial thing i see with a sump...

question for ya ............. due to space etc i,m seriuosly concidering running the new tank off 2 large filters , one at each end , cos at present i dont have space for a sump . If needs be i can build to the right or left side or even both if sump reqd ........what your opinion plz

yea i see what ya mean but am only having a centre piece if you no what i mean , roughly 4ft long , leave a foot free eith end which should be outside the shadows ...again thanx appreciate any advice
