I agree with the hot water method. Make sure the water is almost at a boil, then retract it into a needle, an inject it directly into the mouth. It should shrivel up and fall off the rock within second. If you have a peppermint shrimp in the tank, he will be quick to grab it. Steve

I have done it with a ziplock bag as well. Pour some sand into the ziplock bag, close the bag, bring it down to the bottom of the tank, and slowly open and release. Its as easy as that! Steve

Love it, wouldnt get rid of it for the world. Keep in mind i only have a FOWLR tank but it has given me that peace of mind. Not to mention the clarity of the tank has been amazing. Well worth it, IMO Steve

I have also though about the rubber cement of hot glue gun. But knowing my handyman capabilities everything else would stick to the tank but the background. Well it looks as though i will just try ghetto tape! Much appreciated Steve
