Took all the filters out after maybe 2 days and then kept treating. Apparently meds are super stressful and also reduce the oxygen levels so I'm afraid turning up the heat that high with meds ya know. Ill go out and get another heater ASAP . My royal has it now too :(

So my clown loach have ich. I've tried doing med treatment for a weekish finally decided to go for heat and I'm having a hard time getting my temp up. I'm a hair below 85. I have a 75 gallon with a long tube heater on the side do you guys think I should get another one?

My nitrate and ph levels were up still I think around 20 -40 ppm and ph of 8.4 left my lights off all day.. And ammonia was hard to tell but it looked as if it went down. That was before water change and now I'm waiting a bit to test again

Yeah our nitrate levels are around 40-80 ppm we just did a 50% water change last night and our ammonia was at .25 but it went back to zero didn't check nitrates though. Well we have a regular bristle nose and an albino.. It took our albino maybe 6 months to grow to 3 inches. Our regular one hasn't grown as much or as quickly. We did move them from a 10 gallon into a 75 gallon though.
