    He is in a 125 at the moment but I have been thinking on a 150 soon too bring in some females for him ,like 4-5 and maybe add some comps if I can find any here where I am . Would be great :)

    Try and use a little more activated carbon , and it kinda looks like maybe it the lights that could be the problem as we'll , or do a water change and see if it clears it up . As well you wanna make sure your filters can handle the bio load.

    Honestly to sit here and listen too ya I do agree that with breeding some behavioral issues and yes deformities can happen but that happens even in the purest of bloodlines , and also cross breeding does happen natural in the wild in many species wether fish , reptiles , birds and even humans...

    I used one very large flat rock as base and a thick triangular rock with a flat top .

    I pushed the base rocks in too the substrate and as for the stacking I tried to make sure everything was sturdy and not unbalanced , by interlocking and put flat faces in flat faces , also if there was a bit of a gap I would put rocks there too close it

    What other fish do you have with it that are aggressive enough to hurt and also there is a very good chance it could be from the rock or from being chased and hitting the rock . And how long has it been like that
