If your nitrates are increasing do a good water change.

Yah they will go away soon:) just hope you don't get cyano bacteria like I did. I had to buy chemiclean but it cleared up pretty fast:)!

It could be diatoms. I got them really bad and they eventually just go away.

What color is the algae?

Kind of looks like a condy anemone. It was not extreamly closed up in the first picture. A crab or snail may of accidentally bumped it. My anemone does that all of the Time:)!!!
