Oh sorry ma'am and ok I got the seachem prime today and added it to tank the ammonia is at 0 but my nitrite and nitrates are still very high should I add more or wht should I do?

When we started the tank we got it up and running about a week after starting it I am very new at all this aquarium stuff and don't kno much at all when I was at work my girlfriend told me the ammonia was low like .25 and the nitrates and nitrites were very high almost at top of charts. so what...

By cycled u mean... And the nitrates and nitrites are really high like way above safe and yes fish are in the tank

The ph is dark blue like above 7.4 and has been there for a while and nitrates and nitrites are going up

Ok guys I've had my 55 gallon tank set up for about a month now and the water was fine when we set it up the water was fine I checked everything with the API freshwater kit and its been fine and about a week ago the ammonia and ph was high so we vaccumed gravel and got ammo lock to decrese it...

Ok I might try that they do have a good starter kit for the 55 I just looked into for 160 just need a better stand than the one I got

I just took about an inch and a half of water out of the tank and the screen fits over the front and back now so the flexing has gone down a little I'm going to look up a replacement top piece and see if that will help

Yea we have the fry in the 10 gallon we have 2 and they are eating I was just really surprised when I started to see baby fish in the tank and hurried and got them out I posted pics this morn of them I hope they both survive now

I hear ya man me too and I really could have used this app a week or so ago my dalmation fish I got from petsmart was prego and we had 26 fry and the goldfish ate 3 so we had 23 and we looked up as much as we could and rushed to Walmart to get a gallon tank and put em in but most got sucked up...

Yea I was at petsmart earlier and got the API test kit and didn't really look at em since I had this one I thought was fine I'm glad I got on here and asked around lol and I was babysitting my gfs dads cat and it jumped on top of tank a few times I would have shot it if it busted everywhere :/

Yea I was looking at that one last night lol I liked it I guess if all else fails I could sell what I have for about 200 maybe as long as that one comes with everything

Yea well compared to my 10 gallon the glass is about 1 1/2 times the thickness about 3/16 or so well here lol Ok the mark on left is 10 gal and on right 55 gal the very left of each mark is the thickness
