I have a 29g biocube modded for saltwater fish. Comes with everything you could possibly need for a nano reef tank except a stand ( its on my nightstand ) i have the top for it but i took it off so i can use a better lighting. Comes with following 29g biocube 25lbs of live rock 20lbs of sand...

So I have a 29g biocube and a friend of mine has given me this piece of coral. I love it but here's the problem is has so much algae on it and I don't know what to do to remove it any suggestions?

I heard the same thing ha :) how would u siphon wouldn't it just suck all the sand out ?

Ok I was think that as well now cleaning obviously isn't by using a siphon. Do I just Occasionally move the top of the Dsb so algae or what not does grown

What would be ideal...is it better to have a Dsb or a shallow one?
