    Planted tank after only 3 months

    My tied planted tank. Just some crushed sea shells, home made potash, red clay and mineralized topsoil under the gravel. I use a hanging fixture with a plant bulb and a fluorescent 15 watt for color. Wish I had money for better lighting but this works!

    Hey everyone, my name is Tim, I have a 10g soon to be 20, planted. I used miracle grow organic potting soil, potash, crushed sea shells, and red pottery clay for the substrate beneath the gravel. I have a 1 year old so. And wife and we love our fish.
