Well, I don't have a set date yet, but as soon as I get the area I'm putting my tank cleared and I actually buy the tank XD. I found a 29g at my pet store yesterday that I have my eyes on :).

I'm already planning on having live plants in my tank :). I was thinking about having Java Moss (or possibly some other type of moss) and a couple Java Ferns.

I think I'm definitely leaning towards fish-less cycling. I have plenty of time to let the tank cycle, but doing water changes so frequently with the fish-in cycle won't fit into my schedule...

I can see what you're saying :). I'll look into maybe one more type of plant as well. I just don't want my tank to be overrun with vegetation. Although I guess I can't exactly judge how much is too much since this'll be my first tank.
