Has to be the baddest fish pound for pound out there. In the last couple weeks, he has killed both of my 4 and 5 inch plecos and taken over the tank from my 2 1/2 and 3 inch Dempseys. I'm not sure of the Dempseys sexes, as they are still juveniles. I'm inclined to think they are male though...

I can spend an easy hour and a half just watching my fish. I just love it and it's something I look forward to. A question to you all, how much time do you spend with your fish?

I've got a dempsey, a convict along with a jewel. They all get along fine. My concern for your tank would be the number of fish for your 55 gal. It seems that especially with 2 dempseys, they will eventually outgrow the tank and have to be split up anyways.
