I have to say it's my dream to come home and see my clown hosting my bubble tip anemone but they are stubborn and won't do it ! I have had then for close to 8 months and nothing.. I put pics on the glass and tried to give it some time. I saw a video where a guy put the anemone in with the clowns...

Took mine 3 months before ! Very shy but once they get to know you the come out more often ! I see mine daily

Ya ... My rodi filters plugged because my waste valve failed and my ppm went from 2 to 200 ! In my area that like using tap water! One of my favourite things about this hobby is that we seem to be a tight knit community and always wanna help and see tanks succeed !

What's your rodi testing at ? You like to see under 2 ppm. Have you got a phosphate test kit yet ? When you bought the tank it was up and running ? Was it crashed ? Your rocks could be leaching phosphates to? Sounds like the same situation I got myself Into ! Ask lots of questions! Use this...

I would stay away from the tap water ! My rodi messed up and I ended up using high ppm water and I am still fighting the algae after 9 months ! I would say wait for rodi or buy it and test before to make sure you have low ppm !

I am doing 10-15 gallons a week until my problems go away

I run mine 12 hrs a days ! 11 am-11pm with a 1 hour ramp time.. I start mine so late in the day because I am a night person and like to enjoy the tank when watching tv !

Ok ... I am not an expert but I believe it's just diatoms on your rocks not the start to coralline.

How old is your system

Looks like diatoms to me ... I don't seem much for hair algae. I have been battling hair algae for about 6 months and it's not fun. What are your parameters ? What kind of lighting ? How long are you running lights? Are you feeding ? How often and how much ? How often do you do water...

Ya I have recently have been getting lots of algae, I only feed 2x a week, just installed a lager skimmer and have reduced lighting .. Hopefully that will kick it in the butt

Not sure the name of my coral but he just doesn't seem happy these days and I am worried it's starting to bleach ?

I think I will increase water changes and decrease lights until the problem comes around ... Have been reading up on vodka dosing so that could be something to try soon ... Thanks for the advice I appreciate the help! Plus need to get some good test kits
