Okay I took out the balls and I should leave them out correct? It would be better for a fresh water tank and when 1 finger is pointing there's a blue sponger or another filter should I take that out to clean? And where my 2 fingers are pointing that's where the balls went and I should just leave...

Okay I filled it up I have the green scrubby thing if thats what it is and I have no clue what the two chords are or where I plugged them into and do I new a new filter? And also should I clean the bio balls or what ever they are called in the back? And thank you for all your help much appreciated
