Please urgent advice on what I can do to improve my water quality because after testing the results of the Nitrogen dioxide and Nitrate were not so good and the GH was terrible. Will my fishes die? Thanks.

Hiya, please can u advise I got the test kit, read through and then followed the instructions and after the test the GH was not good, the water is too hard and NO 3 and NO 2 was just in the middle but not bad like the GH. The other results were good. What do I do pls?

Thanks will go get one tomorrow, I don't know anything about 'parameters' will research it now and probably ask more at the shop.

Wow thanks for the link so much information, didn't even know about the feeding break. I did 50% water change this evening, then sat down for over an hour watching them. What a beautiful way to end my day.
