Possible Beta tank and do I need to trim tank?

I have corys in a medium planted tank and they are fine. Occasionally digging out new plants but once the plants get a good hold they're fine. Also had corys with my betta and all gpt on well. I like otos in a planted tank. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    unknown fish

They look like otos to me? I have 3. I'm no expert though so could be wrong. If they are otos then the only grow to about 5-6cm Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Adding ADFs

All salts in general I think. I read online about it when I wad treating my tank for ich. I removed them and had to remove corys from another tank cause again they dont do salt. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Frogs in a 5.5 gal?

Ive never fed with turky baster. Ive got 4 adfs and had 2 a few years ago. Just always put the sinking pellets in the same corner. They will find them and learn. Im not a fan of shrimp either :/ Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Frogs in a 5.5 gal?

I have this set up but in a 10g. When I first got my frogs I'd put their food in the same corner of the tank and now they hang around there when its near feed time :) a mix of frozen food and pellets is what I feed mine. I feed the betta first then the frogs. Never had a problem and like I've...

    Albino clawed frogs

I have 4 adfs. 2 of which are mating. I have been reading up on breeding but feeding the young sounds difficult and I dont have the time right now but I may think about it in the future. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Adding ADFs

Adfs will make great tank mates for your betta. Thats what mine are housed with and they are breeding. Salt is a big no no for adfs. I use streas coat and prime so they are ok. I'm not sure about the rest. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    How to calculate fish/tank size?

Yeah so if we have wild caught fish they wouldn't be fewling very natural so their behaviour that we see could actually not be the norm. Some fish will stay in the same part of a river for their needs. Lighting/shading, flow of water, hiding from predators. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium...

    How to calculate fish/tank size?

Yeah thats what I go by. Just seeing all the fish in the wild made me think. I would almost go as far as saying that 99% of fish tanks are too small for the types of fish we keep. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    How to calculate fish/tank size?

I was watching a programme about fish today and it got me thinking. How do we know our fish tanks are big enough. I mean freshwater fish have 1000s of gallons to swim about and saltwater have even more. So how do we know that our small 20s 60s 100+ gallon tanks are big enough? Sent from my...

Salt in freshwater. Are there benefits?

I put a little in when I had a case of ich. Seemed to help apart from my tank was lightly planted and like a few people have said, plants don't like salt. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Tanked

The show is cut to fit the 1 hour slot. I think they do acclimate the fish and cycle tanks. It doesn't show this as it would be boring to watch. They clearly know what they are doing as they are a huge company. Yes showing over stocked tanks is wrong but more fool to the people who go out and...
