Have 3 black longfin tetra and all three have lost their signature "skirt" they have two black lines but the rest of the body is the more grey color. I recently had to quarantine 3 neon tetra for what I believe is neon tetra disease, could this be the problem?

Hello I just added two golden wonder killifish to my 45 gallon tank with 6 black skirt tetra and one mustard pleco was just wondering if there's any suggestions on fish I could get that the killifish won't devour later in their lives?

Hello I recently rescued a Betta and he was regrowing his fins and everything but now he just lays on the bottom of the tank and his fins are looking quite unhealthy I test his water daily and do water changes if anything is over .5 ppm.

Im looking to add plants to my tank tomorrow and just realized my gravel is only about a half inch deep.. How deep should gravel be for plants like water sprite or java fern? And can I add gravel straight from the bag to my tank? Without taking my fish out?

Do I need to test different things in the water/ use anything special?

Well I just purchased the uv today and it is now running along with the air stone I purchased yesterday. Can't wait for my water to clear up and on the bright side my little tank for my rescue Betta just finished cycling today.

The Boesemani Rainbow is a pretty fish. And it all depends on if the fish nip at the angels long flowing fins. Angels themselves are completely different one fish to the other they have their own unique personalities.

It probably wouldn't hurt to let the guppy give birth so all of the fry aren't eaten in the 30 gallon. Then move as necessary

Do they swim more towards the top or mid level?

Hello I currently have 6 black skirt tetra (3 long fin, 3 glofish tetra) and a mustard pleco. After I fix my algae bloom ill probably get a few more black skirts and was wondering if anyone had other interesting fish ideas that would fit in the 7.6-7.8 ph range.

An angelfish wouldn't work well with the black skirts right? 3 of them are long finned and I don't ever see them nipping the fins of the glofish black skirts or vise versa. But I've heard they would be too tempted by the long flowing fins of the angel.

How big is your tank? I had 3 in a 2 gallon and after a few days all they did was attack eachother if you can't get 4+ more you probably should bring it back before he hurts your other fish or they hurt him.

Yeah I was running my led light from 5-8 am depending when I left for work up until 10 pm... I don't have plants yet I wasn't sure how to do plants I was gonna add java moss but not quite sure how to take care of it...

The thing I read about the mustard pleco says it grows to about a 9" max and is usually only about 6". And I bought an airstone today gotta wait until Tuesday for the uv thing they only had the $100 one for 125 gallon tanks.

Would you have any recommendations on shoaling fish that will get along with my black skirts and pleco? This is completely for future reference I won't be adding more fish for probably 2 months
