Looks like a great tank. If you plan on adding a few fish I would get a skimmer. Also think about upgrading to LEDs. My 2 cents...

Update after adding the led fixture I wanted to get rid of the upper black rim. Here is a pic of my now rimless biocube. Still need to get the last bit of silicone off. Let me know what you think.

I would also recommend getting rid of the bio balls and getting a in tank media basket. That's my next purchase.

Yes on the skimmer. I am using the oceanic nano skimmer. Everyone seems to have bad stuff to say about it but to be honest mine is working great. I found my tank on Craigslist. Tank stand live rock live sand 2 clowns 1 domino damsel protien skimmer and power head for 130.

How far are you moving? I bought my tank used. It was set up and running when I bought it. I just separated my fish and corals into buckets. It wasn't very hard to move at all. Way easier than I expected. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

The biocubes don't need a sump. I am around 600 into it thus far with my 14 gallon biocube. That is including my tank that I purchased used and my led lights took a big chunk as well. The good thing is you can add things as you go.

They were on sale for 129 from 150. I love them. They came with the mounting legs or a ceiling hanging kit which ever you prefer for mounting. They have build in timers and intincity controls so you can fully program them. They even do the lightning storms.

They will pair up. They have a symbiotic relationship. The pistol shrimp is an excellent digger but cannot see very well. The gobie is not that great of a digger so they will share a cave together. The gobie will usually share food with the pistol and protect him. Its a pretty good combo to...

I just picked up the AcanLighting 300 series led light at macna and WOW what a difference!
