So i noticed that my rummynoses had ich last week. I went out and bought paradefense, took out my carbon filter cartridges, and bumped the temp up to 82 degrees. Ive been dosing daily and the rummynoses are clear, but now my flame gourami has ich. Am I doing everything right? Is this a normal...

I don't know too much but I know cichlids are freshwater. In my opinion pick either dwarf gouramis or an angel not both due to the potential aggression. Run some stocking ideas through aqadvisor.com and you can get a decent idea of whay may or may not work together in your tank.

Yeah i have two decent driftwood pieces in my tank in preparation for a pleco. Ive been waiting on a starlight bristlenose but im getting so impatient my LFS obviously doesnt have certain plecs all the time and they're rare to begin with. Good luck with him i hope the driftwood helps!

Another partial rescape! I added a new fake plant, some fauxpani and an extra tetra whisper 10 to leave on when im not home just to aid in filtration and flow. Thoughts and critiques are welcome!

I have it in my tank I bought the black color and both my fish and I love it. It was very clean, so cleaning was quick and easy and i find siphoning waste and debris off the surface to be painless.

I have used aqadvisor but not for this particular stock. I'll definitely run it through and go from there. Thank you.

So the pleco and homey gourami are a definite and final add in. I plan on adding a second HOB small filter to the other side of my tank for extra filtration and continue with my regular water change routine. Thank you for your help.

I already have 6 bandit corys, 5 rummynose tetras and 3 zebra danios on top of my two female DGs in my 29 gallon and i am saving room for my dream starlight bristlenose pleco. So i believe one male honey gourami to my two females should be okay right?

Ive had my female DGs for almost two months and so far so good in the way of health. They eat well, swim everywhere, have grown and are even showing some coloring which is nice. Hopefully a honey will do well in my tank with them

Yes i agree now that im looking at my tank it would look a bit silly with a giant opaline next to all my little guys. Maybe i will try a honey gourami since it sounds like the best decision for my specific tank
